Terms of service

StampDat is a public ledger of sports opinions. You post a claim with a stated way to know whether it was right. Other people agree or disagree before the game starts. The vote freezes at kickoff, the claim is later settled against what actually happened, and a score attaches to your public record.

It is a place to argue about sports. It is not betting, it is not financial or gambling advice, and no money changes hands on the outcome of a stamp.

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use StampDat with a parent or guardian’s permission. One person, one account — do not share an account or run one on someone else’s behalf without saying so.

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Your handle is claimed once and is not changed later, because your record is filed under it. Tell us at presperentllc@gmail.com if you think someone else is using your account.

What you write stays yours. By posting it here you give us permission to store it, show it, and keep it on your public record — including after a stamp is settled and including when it went badly. That permanence is the whole product, and it applies to stamps you later regret.

You are responsible for what you post. Only post things you have the right to post, and do not upload photos or video belonging to someone else without permission.

Deleting your account removes your profile and your content. Where someone replied to a comment of yours, a marker with no words and no name keeps their reply readable, and the conversations you were in are removed for both sides.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on StampDat. You can report any stamp, comment, or person from the menu on it, and you can block anyone — after which neither of you sees the other’s stamps, comments, or messages. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the accounts that post it are ejected.

• Harass, threaten, or target anyone, including other users and the people your stamps are about.
• Post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal.
• Impersonate another person, or claim a handle to pass yourself off as someone you are not.
• Spam, run bots, farm accounts, or manipulate votes and scores.
• Scrape the site, hammer it with automated traffic, or try to break its security or read data that is not yours.
• Use StampDat to run or promote gambling.

We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Some stamps are settled by the Docket rather than automatically, and those rulings are made by the site operator. You can dispute a resolution once, and the ruling that follows is final. This is a sports argument, not a court.

StampDat is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may go down, lose a feature, resolve something wrong, or stop existing. We do our best, but we do not promise the site will be available, accurate, or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of StampDat, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is currently nothing.

You can stop using StampDat whenever you like, and delete your account yourself in the app under Settings → Delete account, or by emailing presperentllc@gmail.com. We can end your access if you break these rules or if we shut the service down.

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use StampDat after a change means you accept the new terms.
