Privacy

Only what the product needs to work:

• Account. Your email address, and a password you never send us in readable form. If you sign in with Apple or Google instead, we receive the email address and name that service releases to us — nothing else, and no access to your account there.
• Profile. Your handle, display name, optional bio, optional profile photo, and the team you say you root for.
• What you post. Stamps and their resolution conditions, the categories and subject you file them under, your agree/disagree votes, comments, disputes you raise, and docket votes.
• Who you follow. The accounts you follow and who follows you.
• Direct messages. The conversations you start and the messages in them.
• Blocks and reports. Who you block, and the reports you file — what you reported, the reason you picked, and any note you added. Blocks are private to you. Reports are read by the site operator and nobody else.
• Photos and video you upload. Stored as files, described below.
• Ordinary server records. Our hosting and database providers keep standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and debugging. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell anything to data brokers.

Assume everything except your direct messages, your email address, and your password is public. Your handle, display name, bio, photo, team, stamps, comments, vote record, score, and full history of hits and misses are visible to anyone, signed in or not.

That is the point of the site. A stamp that resolves against you stays on your record. If you would not want a claim attached to your name permanently, do not post it.

Uploaded photos and video live in a public storage bucket. The filenames are random, so they are not browsable, but anyone who has the link can open the file without signing in. Treat an upload as public the moment you make it.

Direct messages are not public. They are stored in our database without end-to-end encryption, which means they are technically readable by us and by our database provider. We do not read them as a matter of course, but do not use them for anything you need kept secret.

We use a small number of services, each doing one job:

• Supabase — the database, sign-in system, and file storage. Your account, posts, messages, and uploads live here.
• Vercel — hosts the website and serves it to your browser.
• Anthropic— when you compose a stamp, the text of the stamp and its resolution condition are sent to Anthropic’s API so a model can judge whether the claim can actually be settled later. Nothing else about you goes with it: no handle, no email, no account identifier.
• Apple and Google — only if you choose to sign in with them, and only to confirm who you are.

These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal information.

Posts are meant to be permanent — a ledger that forgets is not a ledger. Deleted comments leave a marker showing that something was removed, so a conversation still reads honestly, but the text itself is gone.

You can delete your account yourself, in the app, under Settings → Delete account — or email presperentllc@gmail.comfrom the address on the account and we will do it for you. Deletion removes your profile and handle, every stamp you posted along with the votes and comments on it, your comments elsewhere, your votes, who you follow, your reposts, your uploads, the reports you filed, and your push registration. Two things remain: where someone replied to a comment of yours, a “comment deleted” marker with no words and no name keeps their reply readable; and the conversations you were in are removed for both sides, so the other person loses that thread too. Backups may retain copies for a short period after deletion.

You can edit your profile, delete your own comments, and stop posting at any time. You can block anyone — neither of you sees the other’s stamps, comments, or messages after that — and you can report a stamp, a comment, or a person from the menu on it. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing presperentllc@gmail.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information; write to us and we will honor them.

StampDat is not for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email presperentllc@gmail.com and we will remove it.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and say so on the site. Continuing to use StampDat after a change means you accept it.
